General Terms and Conditions
Conditions The prices listed on this website at the time of booking are decisive for invoicing. The published prices can be changed at any time without special notice.
Payment Course fees are due within 10 days of the invoice date.
Course services
Duration, price, content, details about the realization can be found in the respective course descriptions. Travel and catering costs are at the expense of the participant.
Execution
The execution of a course is bound to a minimum number of participants. If this number is not reached, the course cannot be held. Already paid course fees will be credited by JK Photography (written credit note) or refunded.
Cancellations
Registrations for our courses can be cancelled by the course participant at any time. In this case the organizer is entitled to a compensation of 50% of the remaining course fee until the end of the course.
If a registration is withdrawn later than 2 weeks before the course starts or if the participant does not show up at the course, the full course fee will be due for payment. Furthermore, the organizer reserves the right to charge administrative costs in this case.
If a course participant does not appear on one of the scheduled course days, there is no right to a refund and/or a repetition. For foreseeable absences, there is no entitlement to a price reduction on the course costs.
Inability to attend courses through no fault of the participant, e.g. illness or accident, does not entitle the participant to a reduction of the course fee. However, in cases of hardship, after presentation of a doctor's certificate, acceptable solutions will be sought together.
Copyrights and intellectual property rights
The course participants grants by JK Photography the right to use the image and sound recordings made during the respective course for school purposes, social media, website, trade fair appearances and the organizer own advertising. This also includes the use of recordings on which he/she is depicted.
Insurance
For all courses, photo trips and events organized by JK Photography , each participant is responsible for sufficient insurance coverage
Proof of personal liability insurance from the start of the course or workshop is mandatory. Accident, health and property insurance for personal equipment are the responsibility of the course participants.
JK Photography - Jürg Kaufmann cannot be held liable for any damage to property or personal injury.
Exclusion of liability
by JK Photography is not liable if the non-fulfillment or the improper fulfillment of the contract is due to the following causes: 1. Omissions and fault on your part before or during the photo trip / during the photo workshop 2. force majeure or an event that by JK Photography could not foresee or avert.
In these cases any liability of by JK Photography - Jürg Kaufmann is excluded.
The place of jurisdiction is Zurich/Switzerland. Zurich, 1 July 2024
