The Mönch
A Sentinel of the Swiss Alps
Standing at 4,107 meters, the Mönch is a majestic peak in the heart of the Bernese Alps, nestled between its iconic neighbors, the Eiger and the Jungfrau. The name "Mönch," meaning "monk" in German, evokes a sense of quiet strength and spiritual guardianship, symbolically protecting the purity of the Jungfrau from the fierce presence of the Eiger.
