Nautic Legends

Since 2013 nautic legends project is collecting a growing number of interesting personalities from the nautical world: world-class sailors, surfers, champions, designers as well as entrepreneurs, and opinion leaders.
Photographer Jürg Kaufmann travels the world with his studio equipment to secure always the same shooting conditions for his intense black and white portraits.
In their faces, the viewer reads hundreds of stories. Be they world champions, publishers, or entrepreneurs – the long-term series is fascinating more and more personalities on an international level.
This project will result in a book as well as a travel exposition to present this collection to a wider audience.
