Trio Grande, Above the Clouds
Trio Grande, Above the Clouds
A sea of cloud spreads beneath the helicopter like white silk drawn taut across the Engadin. La Sella and Piz Glüschaint rise through it — twin sentinels of granite and ice, close enough to read every ridge, every fracture of glacial blue. Beyond them, solitary and immense, Monte Disgrazia holds the southern horizon with the quiet authority of a mountain that answers to no range. December light, low and crystalline, renders the snow in shades of cold silver. The world below has vanished. What remains is altitude, silence, and the architecture of stone against an infinite sky.
