Capturing Insights and Innovations - a Shooting with Reto Ringger
Today I would like to give you a little insight into my shoot for Sphere Magazine. The protagonist: none other than Reto Ringger, the Swiss lateral thinker in banking who has redefined the world of sustainable investment with his innovative and forward-looking approach.
Anyone who takes a look at Retos Ringger's impressive career will be immediately struck by his pioneering character. He founded SAM Group in 1995, the world's first provider focused on sustainable investments.
His next venture, Globalance Bank, opened the door to future-oriented investments for private clients, families and foundations.
The first sustainability investing-focused fund, the world's first sustainable investing equity index (in partnership with Dow Jones), and the first cleantech-focused private equity fund - each of these milestones bears the mark of Reto's influence.
In July 2019, he was awarded an honorary doctorate from the International University in Geneva (IUG) for his many innovations in sustainable investing.
In recognition of his entrepreneurial achievements, he has been honored with numerous awards, including Green Cross International's Global Green Award and the Cleantech Pioneer Award. His ideas continue to shape the world and leave indelible marks on the sands of time.
