From the eternal ice, one of the glacier firns flows over a gigantic sink towards the Concordia square and joins with the other sources from Jungfraujoch and Lötschenlücke. It offers a spectacular view of a constantly changing ice river, thus creating one of the most impressive glacier sections worldwide. The aerial photo was taken in the summer, when the snow masses melt and the clear ice comes to the fore.
