The white magic is wearing thin
Until now, the white snow has been able to hide the effects of climate change in the Alps, but not this winter. Last week I was back in the high altitudes of the Engadine mountains to take some recent photos, and what I saw was quite alarming.

Es ist einer der bekanntesten Berge weltweit, nur der Winkel ist nicht sehr bekannt. Warum eigentlich? Man muss bis zu 3’800m hochklettern, um diese Aussicht zu bekommen.
Piz Palü King of the Engadin
Wahrscheinlich einer der bekanntesten Berge im Engadin. Im Westen grenzt er an den Bellavista, ebenfalls eine der schönsten Bergkompositionen des Engadins. Seine drei Grate reichen hinunter zum Pers-Gletscher, der weiter unten in den Morteratsch-Gletscher mündet.
